Old Tom died in Madresfield, a small village near Malvern. My research is on behalf of someone who contacted me via my Madresfield History Web Site, and is in Australia.

I'm afraid the spikey letters were done before I was born Paula!

Hi Emjaybee
I think I might have been right with the Death recording area :-\
When I read off what I thought was the correct date and age from the gravestone, I checked on Ancestry.com to see if I could find a Thomas Weston b: 1825 (ie 1983 - 58yrs) and d: 1833 ::)
I came up with one Registered at Upton who died age 58 in 1833, March Quarter, Vol 6C  Page 224 (or maybe 221)
Looking at the map, Upton-Upon-Severn is just below Malvern, so I think that it is him and my dates are correct ;D

I re read the e-mail you must be correct Mudge.

Thomas (3) Weston was born in 1825 and he married Harriet Williams in 1853, she was a house servant at Madresfield court. He died in 1883 per family information but I can find no death certificates for either of them.

I will ask Anton the enquirer to log on here and collect all the info.
