Hi Pat

I can't find any Neish/Mcneish in Kirkcudbright MIs. If you can get more info. i'll do some more checking. The only family that I can find with a quick look at the 1901 is a William Neish, b. 1858, wife Mary and 2 daughters and 2 sons in Terregles. I haven't done a major search of the census though.

Sparkle - how strange - you're asking people to PM you for information that I've already offered. Why not do it publically. This is the spirit of Rootschat after all.

I do hope you can contribute on this thread.

Gadget  :)

Sorry, you are right. I'd love to help contribute on the thread. I just said pm as some people like to work that way (Maybe I've been on too many car forums recently.... :-\)   I'm only ever on here for about 10 mins at a time (active 2 yr old plus full time job....) so I was just worried that I couldnt help as quickly as you can. Anyway I'm waffling but am willing to help on the parishes and can even describe where the stones are on the maps :D
