Hiya - Job is the one born about 1830 - he says Stoke Lyne in 1881,  I was asking Cathy about him up there......

Searching East Challow PRs this entry was added at bottom of page

Looks like Matilda Buckland age 12 parents Jabez and Amy
Angelina Loveridge age 5 parents Leonard and S??? unable to read
Both having been baptised privately in infancy were received into the church at the same time

Hi All

I have been playing around with Scarrotts this morning,  have taken entries out of some Oxfordshire transcripts,  for Witney,  Charlbury, Fulbrook etc.  They seem to have centered around Charlbury in the 1800s and turn up a bit more than some of the other families (perhaps they weren't so census shy  ;))  Trouble is there are two or three Johns and 2 Williams which make it confusing.

Matilda I see you have a John  Loveridge born about 1820 as a child of Thomas & Rosanna Loveridge - is there any chance he could have been born more 1802?  I have found a great candidate for him in Fulbrook and he also married a Scarrott (Ann) who was possibly the daughter of John & Phobe Scarrott,  some of his lot settled in and around Fulbrook.

 :)

DebbieG

i had a bap for him 21/5/1824 beckley oxfordshire  might not be right one though sent to me by same person who sent me other stuff Matilda

I think Jonas Davis Loveridge is son of Job Loveridge and Alice Davis ..she is the sister of Valentine Davis ....

Debbie ..you posted them yesterday I think ... it's the details that we cannot find on Ancestry ...the one where valentine is with her sisters and parents..
