Been a few variations and possible parents, so any digging is still welcome ... :)

I think the father was a farmer, but will check my old paper records and get back to you ..

who are you Temariki and how are you related ... :)

ahhh, are you the rellys who had the shop in Kingsland  ?   :)

off the ITM, August 1867. 

John Charles MACE, bachelor, a miner aged 29 years of Coromandel, length of residence 10 years.

Prudence DARE was in country less than two months.

They married in Coromandel.

So you are from Tommy and Beatrice TAYLORs branch  ...  cool

Prudence parents were John DARE and Jane ?   they married abt 1828 in West Monkton, Somerset.
