Ok here we go again : 2 BIRTH REGISTERATIONS

Annie Mary Loveridge b  1878  Oct/Nov/Dec Newent Gloucestershire  Herefordshire Worcestershire 6a 273

William Loveridge       b  1878  Jul/Aug/Sept Newent Gloucestershire Herefordshire Worcestershire  6a 265

Its very likely the couple you are searching for maybe if you can afford it worth getting certificates I know that Annie is alittle earlier than what she says on her marriage but its possible she didn;t know her birth year and ladies do sometimes just alittle (white) lie about age
If they were Cousins also most likely families were together when they were born, so I am thinking fathers Thomas & Cornelius are brothers
Another point lots of traveling families tended to stick to one place for marriages & baptizms as they would know the vicars etc and that they would do the deed so o speak, don;t forget lots of families if Travellers weren;t welcome in church not in some places

Here's an interesting point
Newent, Gloucestershire (originally called "Noent") is a small market town about 8 miles north west of Gloucester City, on the northern edge of the Forest of Dean, and lying within the Forest of Dean Local Authority District

Ledbury is a town in Herefordshire, England.
It is east of Hereford, and west of the Malvern Hillsand East of Hereford. Ledbury is an ancient borough, dating back to the Domesday Book,
Newent was served by the Hereford & Gloucester Canal, opened in 1845; this closed in 1881 and the section between Ledbury and Gloucester converted into a railway line,

So it would seem in the right area what do you think ladies ?

not your William but i posted him anyhow

WILLIAM LOVERIDGE
Christened:  26 DEC 1824   Balscott, Oxford, England

son of
  THOMAS LOVERIDGE  &WINNIFRED

***************************************

From this site think that's who you might have found Toni
 http://www.sarah-henson.co.uk/names/smith.htm

My great-great-great-grandmother Emily was a travelling Romany gypsy born in Towcester in around 1846 with the maiden name of Loveridge.

She married Shadrack Smith in Towcester in July 1866. (For more information on Emily and the Smith gypsy ancestors please take a look at the Smith and Goodman pages)

Emily Loveridge was the youngest child of Thomas Loveridge and Winifred Smith who married in Olney, Buckinghamshire in 1818.

Thomas and Winifred had the following children whilst they continued their travels around the country, Theanna/Anna (1819) Northants, William (1824) Oxon, Eliza (1827) Warks, Joshua (1831), Lewis (1832), Ezekiah (1834) Northants, Asher (1836) Northants, Wineford (1841), Alfred (1842) Northants, Cornelius (1845) Northants and Emily (1846) Northants.

Emily's father Thomas Loveridge was born in Leicestershire in 1800 to Moses Loveridge and his wife Symphy (nee Smith). They had married in Olney, Bucks in 1793.

Emily's mother Winifred (nee Smith) was born in Northants in 1803 to James Smith and his wife Winifred (nee Loveridge). So in a bizarre twist Winifred was born a Smith and became a Loveridge, whilst her mother was born a Loveridge and became a Smith. You couldn't make this up!
