Hi

at 14 wood st Notts in 1851
 they were
Cutts Robert lacemaker 47 newstead
Cutts mary Chevener 30 bridgeford
Cutts Henry 2 years  Notts
Cutts Jane 3 months Notts

this family have disappeared between 51 and 61 the older kids in the family are still
to be found in 1861 in Notts but the parents
and two littlies are off the radar has anyone
got a new and innovative idea in how to find
them ?????????

Regards Alan

A few thoughts off the top of my head:

1) they are there somewhere under another name due to transcription error or enumerator's spelling.

2) Robert died and Mary remarried. Children are listed under new husband's name.

3) They emigrated somewhere, leaving the older children (who could fend for themselves) in England.

I would start by checking freeBMD for death of a Robert Cutts, between 1851 and 1861 and take it from there.

Good Luck,
Carmela
