James McKenna & Nancy Durish (Durich or any variation)
« on: Thursday 08 April 04 13:49 BST (UK) »
Looking for any info on James McKenna and Nancy Durish (or any spelling variation) who I believe were from Northern Ireland.  Their son, Daniel, was born in Ireland 1835 (location unknown), and moved to Scotland where he married Elizabeth Waugh in 1857 in Dundee.

I know there are a lot of McKennas but I am hoping the mother's name may help.  Please consider any variation of this as it could have been Douris, Dours etc.

Thank you
Lesley

Hi, I now have a bit more info on these

James McKenna born circ 1790 in (N?) Ireland of James McKenna and Betty (McKenna?), died 1860 Dundee, Scotland.

Nancy (Ann) Durish, born circa 1807 in Ireland of James Durish and Mary McCormack, died 1862 Dundee, Scotland.  No marriage date or place.

Their son, Daniel, born circa 1835 in Ireland, died 1912 Dundee, Scotland, married 1857, Dundee to Eliza Waugh, born circa 1838 Ireland to Inglis Waugh and unknown.

Children of Daniel McKenna and Eliza Waugh were
Francis McKenna c1858
Nancy c1862
Margaret c1866
Mary c1868
David c1875
James c1877

Does any of this ring any bells with anyone??????  :-\

Regards
Lesley
