Stiff Claydon, Buckinghamshire - where?

I've a reference in a Will to Stiff Cladyon, Buckinghamshire and was just wondering where it was?  It wouldn't happen to be another name for Steeple Claydon by any chance please?

Hi Nicola,

I would definitely assume this means Steeple Claydon. I've never heard of a Stiff Claydon and I just Googled it to check - nothing. I'd go with Steeple rather than Stiff!
