« on: Sunday 29 June 08 21:29 BST (UK) »
If anyone has access to the Memorial Inscription Books, could you see if there is an inscription for:

Booth, John, age 66, buried 1 Aug 1869.

Many thanks

Hi,
Sorry, I haven't - but I did find these which might help if you don't have any success:
www.rotherhamfhs.co.uk/shop/BurialIndexes.htm
www.moorgatecemetery.org.uk
If nothing else the second site has some wonderful information and photographs.
Perhaps you could contact the Friends of Boston Castle and Moorgate cemetery to see if they can help. I did this with Burngreave Cemetery in Sheffield, and someone located the grave and even emailed me a photo of it.
Good luck.
Paulene :)

Thanks for the reply.  It was the index I got the details from.

I had seen the moorgate website, I thought I would try here first as the monumental inscriptions are published, so I was hoping someone might have a copy.

I've emailed the website, so fingers crossed.

thanks
