WALLMANN Family, South Australia

In an old family photogaph album I have come across some rather delightful photographs taken around 1861 or 1862 of members of the Wallamnn family.

Research has revealed that they are

.....Minna Maria Julie Caroline WALLMANN (born 1849) and her sister Emma Franciska WALLMANN (born 1853). The place of birth for both girls is Adelaide, South Australia, and their parents were Carl Friedrich WALLMANN & Julie Friedericka Christiana ALBRECHT.

......Gustav August WALLMANN (born 1855) and Carl Heinrich Adolph WALLMANN (born 1851) with same birthplace and same parents.

......their father Carl Friedrich WALLMANN.

If anyone is researching this family, I'd be happy to let them have a scan of each of the photographs.

I am wondering if Carl Friedrich Wilhelm WALLMANN might be a relative of the Wallmann family I have begun to research. How many Wallmanns could there be in Adelaide, SA in the 1840s/1850s? I would hazard a guess that there is a connection somewhere.
