In 1911 census the Turner family – John Walker Turner, Alice Turner and Oliver John Turner were living in Sandys Road Worcester.
John Walker Turner was a boiler maker and Oliver John Turner a carriage painter. 
The 1911 census form was completed showing Alice had been married 17 years and had one child. (Oliver John registered 2nd quarter 1895) So who was the Alice Pitt, daughter 25 (single) and Ralph Pitt grandson aged 7 born in Evesham? There was also an elderly lady boarding with them.

In 1939 Oliver John Turner a single man, was living in lodgings in Worcester and had the same profession. His death seems to have been registered in 1942 in Worcester.

More questions, but some answers.

So who was the Alice Pitt, daughter 25 (single) and Ralph Pitt grandson aged 7 born in Evesham?

They appear to be a melded family, with May and Alice being from a previous relationship of one of the parents and Oliver born 10 years later.

These are living in Worcester, and I think they are the same family. 1901 census.

alice pitt is daughter of alice turner from previous relationship with a john pit she also had anther daughter ada may pit her son is ralph -the 1911 cencus quoted by eastury i canot find on ancestry is it me or is ancestry going downhill
