Help Please
« on: Thursday 10 July 08 17:49 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help, I am trying to trace parts of my family who went to Canada late 30's or 40's I dont really know where to start My aunt was Mary Jane Seale(nee Abernethy)also known as Dorothy or Dolly she had 4 daughters she married Kenneth Pulham who I belive was in the Canadian airforce, They I believe had 4 daughters They were all born in England,
I know that Ethel/ Penny and Ken lived for a while in Saskatchewan.
Anyone any ideas where to start as I would like to get in touchwith their descendants.

Many, many thanks

you could try www.canada411.ca

Gandley (but known as Stanley in Canada)- Ireland to Birmingham
Ball, Kempson & Franklin - Birmingham
Shorter - Surrey
Dyer - Devon
Dawkins - Co. Cork, Ireland
Heffernan - Ireland
Huck - Alsace, France
Reinhart - Baden, Germany
Bowman & Ellis - England
Etheridge - Gloucestershire

Who all came to Canada in a little row boat, clap clap, clap your hands!!

If you find the passenger manifest, it may tell you their intended destination.
