McIntosh Whyack (now Whaick?) Blackford

I am looking for a John McIntosh who lived in the Blackford area in 1923 at a place called Whyack which we think may have been what is now called Whaick Farm.  We do not know how old he was, but would probably have been born between 1860 and 1903 and was guardian to a girl named Dora.  We think he may have served in the first World War - there is a memory of someones father coming home and the lice being ironed out of his kilt!

I know this is a long shot but was hoping there may be someone out there who can point me in some sort of direction so that I can confirm details when I go to the GRO in a week?!

Can't help with your McIntosh but can tell you that Whyack and
Whaick are the same place also saw on your other post about
Blackford public school Blackford only has a primary school
children traveling to Auchterarder when they reach secondary school age, I would suspect at the time you are looking at this school would take them on to school leaving age which would be 14 at that time or even 13 in the case of orphans or children that were supported by the parish,
