Henry Rand 22 and Agnes Rand 20 left Liverpool on 28 Jan 1891 bound for New York. The ship they sailed on was The TEUTONIC and Henry is listed as a labourer.

Don't know when dad travelled back to Canada but the rest of them left Liverpool, bound for Quebec on the Corsican on the 6 Oct 1910. They are transcribed as Rands.

Mrs A Rand wife
Norman Rand labourer
May spin (poss meaning spinster?)
Flo,Ruby,Archie and Kathie all listed as children.

Sadly no more info this end,but perhaps there is on the Canadian side.

Regards

Carol

Norman served in WW1 for Canada, his attestation papers here ..

http://www.rootschat.com/links/03uq/

It says his next of kin is Agnes,so I think that means that dad Henry has died by then?

Carol

PS sorry Jorose, didn't notice you had already posted details about Norman  :-[
