The BBC are searching for people keen to hold a family reunion
« on: Wednesday 16 July 08 14:52 BST (UK) »
Dear Rootschat Users

I'm writing with news of a major new BBC documentary series, celebrating the British family in 2008.

We're searching for people fascinated by family history who would like to hold a big family get-together to feature in the series.

Blast! Films (www.blastfilms.co.uk), an independent production company is producing this landmark series for BBC. Each episode will follow a different large extended British family as they come together for a family reunion. The reunion will offer the whole family the chance to discover their collective history and re-establish over the course of an all-expenses paid weekend in Autumn 2008.  The weekend will be packed full of family activities, offering the chance to rediscover relationships and memories, as well as seeing archive footage and photographs that may have lain unseen for decades. Our hope is to explore the fascinating past and present that every family has at its core and to discover the importance and strength of family bonds in modern Britain.

Anyone who would like to find out more, please call Anna on 0207 267 4260 or email on allewellyn [--at--] blastfilms.co.uk
