*COMPLETED* Why Don't My Messages Say "NEW"

*COMPLETED* I notice almost all messages are followed or preceded by an oval logo which reads "NEW".  I would have thought that was added automatically.  Why doesn't it appear in connection with my 'new' postings?

Possibly because you are the one viewing them and, by definition (as you posted them), they wouldn't be "new" to you  ;)

Cheers,

David, Welcome to rootschat.

That answer never occurred to me. Will check next time I post a query.

Hi again David,

Sorry I didn't say Welcome to RootsChat!!  charlotte, I most definitely should have done so.

David, we are a kindly and helpful lot on RC - even if we sometimes laugh at our own questions (you should have seen some of my early ones!!).

Let's hope we can help you on your genealogical quest  :D

Best regards,

JAP
