Sarah Hare    wife
Children
George b1806
Nelly b 1809

John b1817
Elizabeth b1820

Thanks so much

I'm sure (just seen 51 which confirms) George 1806 is son of George elder who could be brother of John

Not absolutely sure yet cos there's a lot of Hare's and they only used about 8 different christian names.

Thanks you both for your help

Patches - hi

You're right about the christian names  ;D

If the age given for Richard in 1841 is correct (rather than the 1812 dob you gave originally) then I think this is him in 1851:

HO107.  P. 1717  Fol. 659  pg. 5

Possibly Scotts Lane ?  Beaconsfield

HARE
Richard  Head  M  28  Gardener
Alice  Wife  M  29
Sarah  Dau  6
Mary A  dau  4
Alice  Dau  1
Mary Rolfe  M-in-L  Wid  68  Servant  B.  Kent, Maidstone

others all born Beaconsfield

Titchfield, Hampshire: Reed,  Fielder, Cawte, Goddard.
Kent:  Float,  Cutbush.
Wallasey, Cheshire: Carroll, Ledsham.
Liverpool : Horsfall, Prescott

Geirge and John are very likely to be brothers  :)

IGI extracted christenings:
George Hare - 15 June 1783 Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire
parents John & Elizabeth

other children to John & Elizabeth, same church, same time frame:
Nanny - 17 December 1780
John - 5 June 1785
Robert - 4 November 1787

Hi Tati

Thats what I found, but you found 2 more children, thankyou.

At the moment I have found 12 Hare families around that time, and I guess they will all fit together in one way or another, my head aches lol

Ty again

Hi,

An Elizabeth Hare of Beaconsfield is one of my direct ancestors - she married a James Rance in Beaconsfield, and later died in 1867 (James rance died much earlier, in 1845).

I don't have all my records to hand at work, but does this tie up with anything you have found thus far. I haven't managed to get back any further on the Hare side, so I'm very interested in what you may have found !
