To help solve this you need to get her birth cert. 

That will hopefully answer some of your questions, there is only so much you can gleen from records on the net.  A cert record cannot be usually be disputed.

lol i was busy checking back on emily snr / cotterell and yes there is a match there salisbury wilts .

still digesting the last couple of posts and in shock. I was gonna write; if amelia emily was illegitimate, and then emily married some other bloke why wouldnt emily jnr collect her from grandma to live happily along with new stepdad and siblings lol well hey she did kinda
