Think our paths crossed briefly a while back.  Did you have contact with Ron Rankine in Australia?
I am the gr gr grand-daughter of Agnes Forbes Rankine, one of the three daughters from James' second marriage to Janet Hardie, so James was my gr gr gr grandfather.  Visited St Johns Towns in the spring and found his grave but didn't get to the farm.
