That's from the original indexes on A******y.  I had forgotten about the Bereavement service.  Too late now must have a go at them tomorrow.

I had a web address for the Bereavement Service and have mislaid it do any of you have a contact for them please?

Soutampton Archives may be able to help with electoral registers (which would confirm whether the couple in Woolston are yours).

Thankyou.  I knew I had seen the address for Bereavement services somewhere.  I don't understand why it would have been removed unusually for me I didn't copy it down which is what I usually do if I think it would be of use.

Have received a letter from Southampton Register Office in which they say that they are unable to find a death for Harry between 1946 and 1951.  Can I get them to search from 1941 during the war to 1945 and after 1951?  Will they only search for 5 year periods?  Harry would only have been 70 in 1958. 

I also have a friend of a friend, who lives in Woolston, asking around amongst the older residents.
