Hello Brenda
I also have Brackenbury interests - can we compare notes?
Regards
Jan

Hello Jan

Certainly. Mine started in Stickney with a marriage of John B in 1772 to Elizabeth Holden. They lived in Stickney & Friskney and their son, William B, married 1807 Elizabeth Meeds, lived in Friskney where my 3x Gt Grandfather Benjamin B was born in 1808. Benjamin married Ann Bowman in 1832 in Spalding where their daughter, Eliza was born in 1833.  She married Charles Sketcher in 1852 and they lived in Cowbit.

Any connection?

Regards

Brenda

My surname interest is Askew lately Ayscough who all were born Brigsley or Stallingborough until the late 19th C when they pretty much moved from Lincolnshire to  the North East or London with only my ancestor staying in Lincolnshire. The earliest I have gone back in this line is Thomas b c 1725 who married an Elizabeth Welsh in 1749. Any links.

May have a link to Elizabeth Welsh though it is a common name I have an Elizabeth Welsh b1762, daughter of William Welsh and Eleanor Robinson who married at Well in 1759. I wonder if your Elizabeth is a sister of William.
