I have a number of Ordnance Survey maps 1 inch to the mile series of England that are now surplus to requirements that I collected during my RAF service. They are all pre 1965 publications and they are free to a good home for the cost of the postage from New Zealand. Being inch to the mile they show a lot of detail that is not available in most maps and may well be of use for locating smaller areas in your genealogy researches.
