Hello Trisha

I came across your message and realised these were names that matched my own research.  Lewis James married Ann Rumsey and their daughter Martha married James Price.  James and Martha had four children and one - James was my great grandfather.  I dont know if I can be of any assistance but please let me know if you think I can.

Hi,
thanks for the message,
I didn't have Matha down as a child of Lewis and Ann when was she born?
The James family are actually related to a good friend of mine who I was doing a tree for. She's related through directely Lewis eldest son William but as I'm interested in finding out about his siblings I'ld be very interested in any info you can give me on Martha or the James or Rumsey families or anyother family info you know.
Thanks for getting in touch.

Hi Trisha

I have Martha as being baptised at Llangattock Church on 17.1.1817.  She died in 1880 and was married to James Price 16.3.1839 and does not appear in the 1841 census with her siblings.  I have William James born circa 1816 - I wonder were they twins?

Some of my information has been given to me by the great great grandson of Ann Price, daughter of Martha James and James Price.  I have yet to check it out by way of birth/marriage certs etc.

Please let me know if you think this information is incorrect.  Otherwise, if it is authenticated then I will happily add my tree info. to yours.

best wishes

Linda
