In researching French Canadian family I just found one I have looked for as" Angelina" listed as "Marie Angelina". Her twin was Rose Marie. Angie is never listed anywhere else as Marie and never used that name. I have also found males w/Marie as a first or middle name. I suggest if u can't find your ancestor of French extraction u try adding this name as a first/middle name along w/the first name they were commonly known as. Leagen
