Hello Peter,

I haven`t been on roots for quite some time, I signed in today as I was looking for a previous message to find this one from yourself.(all be it from last year) It looks like your father is the John who was the brother of my husbands grandfather (hope you can keep up) Thomas Joseph. Apparently they were in contact with each other prior to the death John. Mark`s grandfather couldn`t tell us much as he would get very confused. I wish I had spoken to him about it earlier. We have tried finding his dates of birth, death etc. All we knew was he remarried in England. If you do read this then please get back in touch
Kind regards
Michelle

Hello

My dads name was Charles O’Reilly the youngest child of John and Margaret.

I believe he had 5 brothers and 12 sisters. I believe my grandfather served in the British Navy during the First World War and I have a portrait of him in his uniform.

Hall to have a chat with other relatives

Charles
