I would like to have details of the family of Beatrice Lilian KILMISTER born in Sep 1891 in Brighton, Sussex.  I'm hoping that they are in the 1901 Census.

Not doing well in 1901.  In 1891 there is a Charles Kilminster with wife Pamela and ten children.  He is a boot & shoe manufacturer.   Any connection?

Thanks for looking for her.  That's the problem.  I only have her details.  It's pity that the Census doesn't include the Wife's pregancy because then we would know!

His children earlier are registered as Kilmister so it is probably the right family.  Still cannot find any of them in 1901.

Thank you both very much for helping me.  I'm sure that Hepburn has found the correct one because of the Africa connection.  Beatrice ended up in South Africa.  Does the 1901 provide the places of birth of the family?  What does the Africa Support mean?

Charles Edwin Kilmister married Carrie Greenfield Jan/Mar 1891 Brighton 2b 333
She is born Ringmer in that census.
Are Africa Supports an army regiment?     Boer war??

You should be able to find her in Brighton in 1881.  Daughter of William and Harriet.  Carry age 6 born Ringmer.  RG11 1092  9 11

All born Brighton..Ann is a dressmaker with her own account.Andrea must be right ,he's something to do with the Boer war.Wonder if there's anything on the net we could look up..
