I found this on the Westminster School website , giving details of past pupils whose names are carved on the School Gateway :

http://schoolgateway.westminster.org.uk/?page_id=54

Rev. George Day is one of those listed. It gives his wife's name and the marriage , as you have it, and his father , Rev. John Day , but it says that his mother was Catherine , daughter of Rev. George SANDBY , not Cecilia Mary Weston . This would explain his being named George Sandby Day in the newspaper announcement. Something else to consider.

The topic might be 2008, but geckogirl has been active within the last month, so hopefully will see the new posts.   :)
