Missing William John Roberts b1855

Hi have been lucky to fond most of My Anglesey /Denbighshire family, but have missed a William John Roberts, in both the 1881/1891 census.
Was found as a pupil in the 1871 in Abergele, but could he have gone to sea?
Born in 1855 at Hollyhead so it is possible, have seen the only close fit for him in the Cheshire 1901 census, as a  Merchant Sailor, and married to a Margaret.
Can any one help/suggest any thing to link these 2 people?

I have checked the CHESHIRE marriage records for him and a Margaret with a negative result, have you checked the Denbigh or North wales marriages?

We recently found announcing the death (lost at sea) of William John Roberts Master Mariner.  Lost at 37 degrees 44 minutes South, 4 Degrees 50 Minutes West (SSW of Cape Town - mid Atlantic).

The card belonged to Mary Wareing (DOB 10 May 1922) - born USA , lived in Liverpool and married Albert George Wareing.

Do you have any information on Albert and Mary Wareing from that card you found?  Mary is my mother's cousin.  We visited her in England 25 years ago and lost her address and my mother always wanted to know what happened to her.

were they living in Devon when you visited?

She appears to be Mary H (from marriage 1952)

There is probate for a Mary Hilda, but no idea of age:
Mary Hilda Wareing  died 13th December 2010, probate at Bristol 18th March 2010

Looks to have been living in Swansea in the 1950's 

Is in family trees on Ancestry - worth trying to contact tree owners?
