So close ! Should of took the second left . You then drive thru farm called pantycellyn passed the chapel on your right . I have a photo from 1976 .

I've just 'virtually' driven it on google maps.
I passed the large farm, then I can see a widened area of road with a small brick building (maybe the toilet) down on the left
If you keep driving, do you end up at some army training buildings?
Would love to see any photos.

Yes the army took over a farm called murnachdy ( not sure on spelling ) yes toilet cubicle is on left and facing it are chicken sheds I think . If I work out how to put pics on here I will do

I downloaded the photo and can see exactly how it fits onto the area on google maps where the bank seems to fall away and the remains of a wall.
Is that a relative of yours standing in the doorway

Your welcome , I have many happy memories of tynwern growing up .

My sister is actually researching family tree got to about year 1700
A lot of Williams in the area and so getting stuck .
