I love your little flag Mrs Peel, how did you get it there?   I'll show your post to my friend, as she has a Lancs ancestor who was in an asylum, think she'll find it helpful, thanks for posting.

If you go to Edit Profile, there are some flags listed by country name where you can insert a picture.  I just chose Canada and there it was!  I'm not exactly brilliant with the technical aspects of the forums, so it's very easy.  :)

Im resurrecting an old post, but its a helpful post.
Received my 3x great grannys Bridgend asylum records on a cd I played on the dvd player, a photo was on there too  :) I need to access Chartham asylum records in Kent now, can anyone post a direct link as Im going round in circles?
