Callaghan Family 1891 Census
« on: Sunday 07 September 08 07:39 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I was hoping someone might be able to look up the following family for me on the 1891 Census.  On the 1881 Census they were living at 20 Worfield St House, in Liverpool.

Daniel Callagin (or Callaghan) aged 59 born in Ireland
Elizabeth Callagin                   aged 50 born in Ireland
William Collins son in law aged 23 born in Ireland
Catherine  Collins Daughter aged 22 born in Birkenhead
Mary E Callagin daughter aged 11 born in Birkenhead
Elizabeth McMichael grandaughter aged 7 born in Birkenhead
Daniel Callagin son aged 19 born in Birkenhead
Patrick Collins grandson aged 1 month born in Liverpool

I know this is a very common surname but I would appreciate any help you may be able to give me.

Thank you

Lynne Coe

Aynsley,

Thank you so much for you quick reply.  Daniel Callaghan was my great great grandfather - so it's fantastic to find out more about him.

As he died in Liverpool, what cemetery would he have been buried in (or could it be one of many)?

Anyway thanks again for the information and also that of the Collins family.

Lynne
