Delvard and Hanlon Co.Cork
« on: Monday 15 September 08 20:30 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
I might have asked for help with this marriage in the past, if I have you'll have to forgive me, my memory isn't what it used to be  :D

I'm looking for the marriage of a Daniel Delvard/Delvart to a Catherine Hanlon in Co.Cork abt. 1846ish.
Daniel was born roughly between 1816 and 1822 and Catherine abt 1828 both Cork.

The children I have born in Cork are
Hannah born abt 1847
Catherine born abt 1849
John  born abt 1852

These ages are taken from the 1861 census RG9/2805 folio 67 pg 40 when they were living in James Street, Tyldesley

I can't find them on the 1851 probably because it says John was 9 on the 1861 born Cork.

On the IGI Daniel is down as Delvard/Delvert and Dilworth

There are lots of mis-spellings of the names throughout the census.

I have seen the other families with Delvard trees on Ancestry, but prefer to check all resources for myself as some of their facts are clearly wrong.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Kind regards
Su
