i am looking for my husbands family who emigrated from cornwall i don't know if his greatgrandmother was American or emigrated to his grandfather was born in Michigan in 1910 i think i found them on the 1910 census their names are Reginald Percival Williams b 1888 Casandra/Cassandra b 1886 and Reginald j or t Williams b 1910. I think calandras' maiden name was Rhoda. i also know Reginald Jr was back in cornwall UK in 1932. can anyone please help me? Clare

Welcome to Rootschat.
The U.S. census records should list country of birth so you can tell where Cassandra Calandra was born to start with.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

The 1910 Census says that Calandra was born in England, as were her parents.  It says she and Reginald (the elder) immigrated in 1907 and they had been married for two years.

Then it sounds like england might be the place to check for the marriage.

With the information from Shellyesq, I have found Reginald and Cassandrll (!)'s marriage in St Austell in Dec 1907.  Her maiden name was Rodda.  She was born in Penzance in 1883.  In 1891 the family were farming in St Clement and in 1901 in Withiel.  Speak to me Clare I have more info!!

PS Clare is my daughter so thanks on her behalf for your help!!!  Just Reginald to tie down - easier with Rodda than Williams!

they were back in cornwall on the 1911 cencus living with cassandrals' parents
