Hi It was on a birth certificate but the mother lives in liverpool at the time. Thanks Helen

In the Liverpool Daily Post of 1856, a report about pigeon shooting mentions:
'The sport took place in Mr. Musker's field, near Miller's Bridge.'  Bootle area.

I have attached a photo of the birth certificate it seems to be Woodchurch County of Chester.

Well, that is very clear on the birth certificate.

'Musker' appears to be Romany for policeman, amongst other things.
