The names and addresses of those people eligible to vote. From 1884 almost all men over twenty-one, and from 1918 women over thirty, and from 1928 women over twenty-one. women also appear in local government burgess rolls after 1869 if they had the necessary property qualifications.
Until 1939 they contained both home and qualifying addresses, where these are different.
