This society has recently recorded the Monumental Inscriptions of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, at Stanton St John, and is making the record available on CD.

It is founded on recording carried out between 1994 and 1996, and a complete copy of the text of this 1996 transcript has been included on the CD. The present transcript includes all of the monuments recorded in the earlier transcript, together with some additional monuments that have been discovered and any new monuments placed since the previous transcript.

The CD contains photographs of the church and of each MI as well as transcriptions of each MI. Navigation is by means of a clickable plan view of the churchyard.

The CD is in HTML format, and runs via the web browser (such as Internet Explorer) that is installed on virtually all computers.

For further details and to purchase the CD, please see :-

Any queries, please let me know.

Best wishes.
