Hi,

I know this is an old post, but I've just discovered it.

I've also just discovered that Benjamin Clover of Great Bromley was a brother to John Clover of Oakley that windy_miller referred to. Both were born in Hitcham the sons of John Clover and Anna ???

Another brother James Clover a farmer appears to have purchased the Great Bromley mill and left it to his son John in 1789.
Ruffle - Essex/Suffolk
