My family's address early in the 20th century was just as shown - Bryn Coch, Welshpool. I have several postcards which show this as the address, and a photo of them standing on the steps of what looks to be quite a sturdy house.

Has anyone any idea how I could find out more about the location of Bryn Coch? I've tried the usual "modern methods" and there's nothing of that name recognised in Welshpool; I think I need a streetname to help my search.

As you say, that looks like a new development but the main road by is Red Bank so it's probably in the right area.

Maybe I need to take a trip to Wales!
