Galloway Rifles

Can anyone help please.
Trying to find out info on Galloway Rifles whose full title is believed to be
"Galloway (Kirkcudbright and Wigtown) Volunteer Rifle Corps"
Understand they were eventually incorporated into KOSB.

Have googled and found officers cap badge but no detailed info.

A Clingan was Pte/SNCO in said outfit and was good enough to shoot for them at Bisley.

I realise it's a long time since you asked.  But there is a book - Albanich which gives the history of the Rifles.
