Here is a map of Burnett St. My Grandfather lived here in in the thirties and through WW2 - there was an awful lot of bombing in the area and he spent most of his nights in a public shelter! I've put a map on of the area. It comes from the National Library of Scotland via Old Maps. The image is allowable for non-commercial uses. Look at Upper Kennington, Leopold Rd, Gye St Area- near the Albert Embankment.
