1841 or 1851 census Brixham
« on: Monday 31 January 05 22:34 GMT (UK) »
My great great grandparents are missing from the census at home (Whitstable, Kent) but I found some indication that they may have been connected with the Brixham Coastguard during this period.

Would it be possible for someone to check these census' for the following:

George Webb  b.1791 Whitstable
Frances Webb b.1791 Whitstable
Henry Webb b.1825 Whitstable

Thanks for your time.

Couldn't find them but found this family of Webb of which one of the daughters was born in Kent.

Thought it might be of use to you

Thanks very much Angela

I usually keep all info such as this - you probably know yourself but what seems to be irrelevent at the early stages turns out very useful later on.

There is certainly a lot of movement between the Kent and Devon ports judging by the census's I've looked at.

Thanks again.
