Hi Hallmark and thanks so much for the information.  The name I have is James Rutherford for George  Shaw Rutherford's father.  This was the posting for his obit.  Maybe his father was John James?  I really appreciate everything you send.  You are amazing.

Thanks again.

Thanks so much.  I have all the Jen Willits information.  I am looking for the father and mother of George Shaw Rutherford.  I have all of the certificates that are available for George Shaw and nothing has any information on his parents.  When George Shaw and Elizabeth were married his father and mother were not at the wedding.  I do have a copy of the Leet's directory that shows James Rutherford, Esq. listed in Cornastauk, Leitrim, Ireland in 1814.  That is about the only thing I have found that confirms he existed.  For a son that has so much information about him on the internet, there is nothing but that on his father.  I also cannot find anything about William Shaw, Esq. of Sligo, Ireland who was the father of Mary Shaw (George's mother).

Thanks again for the information.
