Hi Reyz
I'm afraid that is the wrong family but thanks for trying.

Hi Welsh Lady
Thanks for the baptism records.

By the 1871 census Jonah Meredith had given up farming and became a Beer House Keeper @ the George Inn, Brithdir, Gelligaer.  At home with him was wife Ann and son William.

On the 1881 census William Meredith now aged 49 and married had moved a few properties away @ 2 George Inn Row.  No sign of parents Jonah & Ann?  can you help?

Please can you help locate William Meredith on the 1891

regards
roy

As Meredith is a popular Christian name in Wales, try looking with Meredith as the Christian name and maybe Jones as the surname.

My great-grandmother is on one Census like that and her childen have been given her Christian name as their surname too.

Thanks Osprey, the death registrations for both Jonah & Ann look good, the time scale fits the two deaths.

On the 1881 the son William had moved two properties away and his occupation given as a contractor and haulier, didn't fancy being a beer house keeper like his parents ???

Would like to locate William on the 1891 & 1901 census so if anyone can help it will be appreciated.
