Something unusual

GLS Chatters all,

Some months ago Gillg kindly found me some info. from the Gloster R.O. and whilst recording my family tree information in a format for Windows viewing by my relations in the USA, I noticed something not often found in church records - and I've searched thousands of pages of such.

In 1831 19th of May is the following:-

William Son of      |         Anne         |         Ball         |         Water Lane
                            | (Now Gardiner) |
                         (Seven years of age)

Water Lane is in the parish of Bisley.

Is there a Gardiner in the house? :D

Regards

Chas
