Withers of Leicester, England

I am related to Jeremiah Withers 1888-1923, he was my great grandfather on my fathers side, I too am struggling with anything further back than 1770 on the Leicester Withers side and would love to know any more info or if anyone has pictures

When Joseph Withers was born in 1748, in All Saints, Wakefield, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom, his father, William Withers, was 30 and his mother, Mary Drake, was 32. He married Mary Godfrey on 20 April 1768, in Leicester, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 7 daughters. He died on 22 May 1819, in Leicester, Leicestershire, England, United Kingdom, at the age of 71.

Not sure I'm helping you really but it seems there was a Withers branch which went to New Zealand.

the names look right but I cant see where it says that they went to new zealand on the page you linked
