Ancestry has bitten the dust!!!

There is no way to access Ancetry.co.uk or Ancestry. com this morning..they say they will be back soon but that was yestrday evening and it is still the same

Most of it seems okay, but BMD search keeps coming up as "Your search for Person returned no matches" whatever name I use!

It did that yesterday, and was a complete pain

It happened to me yesterday but if I tried "browsing" rather than "searching", it was fine. Very odd.

Can get in and access to census but it wont let me into My Ancestry or add to the shoebox

I have been having exactly the same problem.....been driving me potty! Also having problems loading up images - census fine, but some of their other images - that has been going on for weeks. Reported the images as missing, but no response (or images!)

Noticed that the WDYTYA family tree software comes with either a free 1 or 3 month trial (depending on which version you buy), so no doubt there will be many more users just after Christmas!

Am also having trouble getting onto Ancestry UK, get the little boy picture and come back soon message. However, have no problem getting in through FTM 2006??!!!!
