When I click on Mail Options, I get the top image coming up. I then click on Block addresses and the second image comes up.

Do you have this?

Isabel, I hardly think that ones username or password could have anything to do with it.

I wouldn't have thought so either, but when you click on the forgotten password link, the only info. required is your user name.  It's some time since I contacted SP about this (after blithely deleting an e-mail that I thought was nothing to do with me, and then finding my password no longer worked) but I'm fairly sure they said the user name is what their computer goes by when dealing with password requests. Not satisfactory in my opinion, and it bothered me that the person(s) whose reminders I received must have been still waiting for them. I still think that your e-mails may have gone to someone else by mistake and that it is worth investigating..

Isabel,  you  could be right, I just don't know ... I am also a little confused

about the username on SP which I assumed was your email, after all that is

how one signs in     username =email,  then  password.  It's so long since I

managed to get in, that I'm not sure about any of it now!  I have been away

all day so haven't had a chance to get my husband to look at this new email

set up (BT Yahoo Classic)  that Gadget has with BT ...   not that I think it could have anything to do with this issue.

I think we should maybe should have updated to this when we started a new package with BT some weeks ago..  I will try to get this done tomorrow, then will  try all the advice you kind folk have offered again.   my thanks   Dolly.

Gadget.. Could I please ask what are your thoughts on Isabels  theory .. As I said in  my mail  to her,we have been away all day, so nothing got done.
Do you  think if I changed my mail to this BT Yahoo Classic that it might work when I  re- register .. Am getting so confused again, and feel that I may be pestering people..  Thank's Dolly

Hi Dolly

My username is also an e-mail. I've never had any problems with SP and I've been with them from the beginning - including when DocumentsOnline (wills) were separate. My accounts of both were merged without any problem.

BT Classic is the format that was the original when BT/Yahoo e-mail became webmail. I access all my BT accounts this way and don't use Outlook/Express, etc.

One thing that you could check is when you have purchased units. Do you get 2 e-mails from then confirming?
