Emily Sarah ANSELL born in London, Middlesex, England was married to John Zachariah BIDDLE from Somerby Leicestershire
on 7th August 1858 in ROME Italy.

I am searching for ANY family history of Emily Ansell please

She was widowed in Rome in 1872 ,returned to England and lived at 40 Redesdale Street London Middlesex with son John 19 years. At 1881 census she was 50 years old and a dressmaker. her 2 daughters Annie and Caroline also born in Rome were in England but son Henry Gerald BIDDLE was in Australia.

By 1871 William is widowed and living 53 Wood Street St John the Evangelist St John Westminster.  Also in the house are his son in law Henry George SKERRETT, a Pianoforte Tuner, husband of Agnes Annette, and their daughter Eliza Sarah Emily.  Reuben Charles is now a Pianoforte Regulator and married to Emily Charlotte.

Emily Sarah Ansell went to ROME Italy and married John Zachariah BIDDLE ,a livery stable keeper from Somerby Leicestershire in 1858

I wondered if Emily ANSELL was a servant attached to a wealthy English Family in Rome at that time

How would I find this information?

Where did you get their marriage from? I wonder if there might be any hints there (her address at marriage, who witnessed the marriage, etc).

I would imagine your guess about her job is correct.  She was probably working for someone in London as a domestic, and the lady of the house took a liking to her and decided to take her along when they went to Rome.
