Catherine McLaughlin's Parents - Completed

Hi,

This is my first message on RootsChat. Just wondered if the original poster had found the information they needed about Catherine McLaughlin. Charles McLaughlin is my 2ND great-grandfather, and from my research I have found that he was married to Bridget Holloran in 1897 in Dunbarton, Scotland and lived there up until at least the 1901 Scottish Census. That's why you had trouble finding them in the English Census. From the marriage record I think his parents are Hugh and Eliza Ann McLaughlin, and her parents are John and Susan Holloran. I can't read what their mothers maiden names are though, so If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

In 1911 there were two Catherine McLAUGHLINs of the right sort of age in Newcastle but this seems to be the right family given what was said above by Cmac.

I had stopped searching further re Catherine or Kitty as I knew her. A question for Carl, was Kitty the daughter of Charles, your GG grandfather?

Thanks everyone for the help. Alison, yes Charles was my great-great grandfather. Catherine's brother, David, was my great grandfather. Did you know her?
