I don't think they had registration districts before 1837 because that was when the official records for bmds started.  I guess it was just Lodsworth in Sussex. ???

From the introduction of the Midhurst PRTS CD it talks about St Mary Magdalene & St Denis Parish Church and St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church as well as a Baptist Chapel and Calvanistic Chapel. All churches in Midhurst. There is no mention of Lodsworth records on the CD unfortunately.

Hi Kerry and swebby thank you for your helpful replies  :)
I've come to a bit of a full stop in Lodsworth, Easbourne and west Chiltington around the 1800's so was hoping that Father Christmas might have been able to help by purchasing some of the CDs on Stovepipes original link, perhaps I'll contact the PRTsoc.

Thanks
Zoe

Hi Swebby, thanks for the link, looks like a good site and hey finding one ancestor is better than nothing  ;D

Edit to say that I have emailed the PRTsoc to ask if any of the available CDs contain Lodsworth etc so will wait and see

Crikey Ian thanks for the tip!

I ordered Mayfield and Cowfold yesterday and they have just arrived with the Postman!  :o

That has got to be some sort of record, particularly in December  ;D
